
Experience
Due to his many years of experience in public accounting and management, Shell has extensive involvement in community activities. He has been a consultant to middle market and growth companies providing services in areas of financial management, managerial restructuring and capital formation. Of most significance is his experience and expertise serving as a member of advisory boards and boards of directors of public, private and not-for-profit companies.
Shell was previously with Arthur Andersen, LLP for over three decades. He began his career in the Milwaukee office, served as the Managing Partner for the Pittsburgh office, and concluded his career as the Managing Partner of the Los Angeles office and its more than 1,500 personnel. He also had regional oversight for offices throughout the Southwestern United States, Australia, and New Zealand. Shell was a member of the Firm’s Board of Partners and served on numerous management committees.
He currently resides in Beverly Hills with his wife Sandra, who serves as the volunteer Chief of Protocol of Los Angeles County.
