Experience
Rick leads the Accounting and Audit Department at Gumbiner Savett and has worked at international accounting firms including Ernst & Young and BDO Seidman. Rick is also on the executive committee of the firm.
In addition to his public accounting experience, Rick was a chief financial officer for both publicly-held and private companies in various industries. He also performed key roles in negotiations of numerous acquisitions and divestitures, and acquisition due diligence.
As a chief financial officer, Rick’s areas of expertise include the following: acquisitions and divestitures, downsizing and restructuring, international operations, accounting and forecasting, business contracts, information technology, debt and equity fundraising, private equity/venture capital, planning and budgeting and consolidation and multi-divisional entities.
Rick co-manages the Real Estate department at Gumbiner Savett and has extensive experience working with real estate funds, owner-operators, developers, and property managers.
